Software Test Engineer (Fresher)

Zunderdog is hiring a Software Test Engineer (Fresher) for its team in Pune. The position is currently remote and offers freshers an opportunity to gain practical experience in software testing and automation. Zunderdog The candidate will test websites, web applications, and mobile apps, prepare test cases, identify and report defects, perform regression checks, and gradually learn automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium. The role is suitable for candidates with a relevant technical degree or equivalent skills who have a basic understanding of HTML, browsers, and APIs, along with strong attention to detail and clear communication.

Responsibilities

  • • Test new features across websites, web applications, and mobile applications.
  • • Create and maintain test cases and testing checklists.
  • • Document software defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting screenshots or recordings.
  • • Recheck resolved issues and perform regression testing before releases.
  • • Develop knowledge of test automation using Playwright or Selenium.

Requirements

  • • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent skills.
  • • Basic knowledge of HTML, browsers, websites, and APIs.
