As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work on real-world software development tasks and contribute to building, testing, debugging, and improving software applications. You will have the opportunity to work with experienced engineers, strengthen your programming and problem-solving skills, and gain practical exposure to software engineering practices. The role involves designing and implementing software solutions using appropriate programming languages and data structures. You will work with technologies such as Java, Python, or C++, along with SQL databases and REST APIs. You will also be expected to understand existing code, troubleshoot technical issues, write and maintain tests, and contribute to the overall quality, performance, and reliability of applications. Responsibilities: * Develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications. * Solve programming and algorithmic problems efficiently. * Design and implement scalable and reliable software solutions. * Apply Object-Oriented Programming principles while developing applications. * Work with REST APIs and SQL databases. * Use Git and standard software development workflows. * Write and maintain unit and integration tests. * Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs and technical issues. * Participate in code reviews and follow software engineering best practices. * Collaborate with engineers and other team members on technical projects. * Understand existing systems and contribute improvements to code quality and performance. * Learn new technologies and development practices as required. Requirements: * Strong programming fundamentals. * Good knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms. * Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming. * Knowledge of basic System Design concepts. * Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C++. * Familiarity with SQL and relational databases. * Understanding of REST APIs. * Familiarity with Git and version control. * Basic knowledge of software testing and debugging. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Good communication and teamwork abilities. * Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced engineering environment. Selection Process: 1. Technical Screening — Assessment of programming fundamentals, technical concepts, and coding ability. 2. Coding Exercise / Take-Home Assignment — Candidates may be asked to complete a practical coding or technical assignment. 3. Managerial Round — Discussion about projects, technical thinking, problem-solving approach, and role suitability. 4. HR Round — Discussion about communication, availability, joining details, and other relevant information.
