Responsibilities
- • Design, build, test, and debug software applications using OOPS, Python, and Java.
- • Work with embedded engineering teams to connect software applications with hardware components.
- • Follow established coding standards, development processes, and industry practices.
- • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers.
- • Carry out software verification and validation to support product quality and reliability.
- • Prepare documentation covering software designs, requirements, and testing procedures.
- • Keep up with developments and emerging technologies in embedded systems.
- • Provide technical assistance to other teams when required.
Requirements
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- • At least 1+ years of software development experience.
- • Strong knowledge of Python and Core Java.
- • Experience with databases such as time-series databases, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- • Exposure to Data Science and Machine Learning algorithms.
- • Understanding of SDLC methodologies and tools such as Agile, JIRA, Sprint, and Confluence.
- • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- • Good communication and collaboration skills.
- • Familiarity with IEC-61850 standards and HVDC systems is an added advantage.
- • Knowledge of Git or SVN is an added advantage.
- • Experience with Agile software development practices is beneficial.
